Oriented on making people closer

The election campaign continues in Turkmenistan, within the framework of which propaganda work is carried out in the regions. On March 1-2, presidential candidates held meetings with representatives of the electorate in different cities of the country.

From March 2, citizens of Turkmenistan abroad can vote early in the presidential elections, according to some websites of the country's diplomatic missions.

The mission of observers from the Commonwealth of Independent States, which arrived in Ashgabat on the invitation of the Turkmen side in connection with the forthcoming March 12 presidential elections in Turkmenistan, has begun its work. This was reported by the Central Election Commission.

The children's health and rehabilitation center, which is being built on the territory of the new administrative center of the Akhal region, will be transferred to the balance of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and assigned to the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation.

Today, the International Cultural Forum has gathered artists, art historians and connoisseurs of beauty from the capital and different regions of the country, as well as from abroad at its hybrid platform in Ashgabat.

In Ashgabat, with the support of the Center for Security and Cooperation in Europe, it was held a seminar on the preparation and conduct of elections and the organization of electoral processes.

Candidates for the presidency of Turkmenistan continue to meet with voters in the regions of the country. On Monday, another such meeting was held by Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov, nominated by the Democratic Party for the highest state post. It was held in the city of Turkmenbashi.

On Monday, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting with a delegation of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States, headed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary Leonid Anfimov, who arrived in Ashgabat at the head of a mission of observers from the Commonwealth to participate in monitoring the presidential elections in Turkmenistan.

Last week, six tenders were announced by SC “Turkmengas”, SC “Turkmennebit”, Hazar Consortium and Tatneft in Turkmenistan.

Citizens of Turkmenistan will be able to vote in the presidential elections in 30 foreign countries in which Turkmen diplomatic missions operate, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
