An online meeting took place between representatives of the Ministries of Education of Turkmenistan and Zambia. The meeting focused on the prospects of cooperation in the field of higher education, as well as student exchange programs between universities in both countries. An international seminar in a hybrid format within the framework of the European Union Erasmus+ program was held at the Alisher Navoi State University of Uzbek Language and Literature in Tashkent. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Mejlis of Turkmenistan hosted a roundtable to advance reforms in local self-governance. This effort is part of the ongoing commitment to improve governance and public service delivery in Turkmenistan.

On Wednesday, 18 September, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with the ambassadors of China, the United States, the Russian Federation and Mongolia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to discuss key aspects of bilateral cooperation with these countries.

On Wednesday, September 18, the Turkmen delegation, led by Deputy Foreign Minister Myahri Byashimova, taking part in the 68th session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency, met with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi.
