

The Power of Words in the Era of Information Wars and media diplomacy: intersections and landmarks
Starting somewhere from the second half of the XX century and until today, humanity has been on the verge of the Third World War more than once. Concerns about this are often expressed in the media, although in fact the Third World War has been going on for a long time and it is taking place in the global information space. Today it often looks like "Fights without rules" and is built according to the same scheme and tactics, where entertainment and emotional reaction prevail over argument and fact, stated Bekdurdy Amansaryyev, editor-in-chief of the ORIENT website, invited as a speaker to the 24th Central Asian Media Conference organized by the OSCE. Media forum "At the crossroads. Protection of media freedom in the name of democracy" takes place on July 6-7.
