The Sverdlovsk Region Is Preparing a Business Mission to Ashgabat
The Sverdlovsk Region, one of Russia's key industrial centers, has officially named Turkmenistan one of its top twenty priority partners. On April 1, the region launched a competitive selection process for companies to participate in the autumn business mission, which will culminate in the CIET 2026 forum (November 3–5).
Vyacheslav Yarin, Minister of International Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region, emphasizes that the region is ready to offer Turkmenistan not just goods, but comprehensive technological solutions for energy, chemicals, and industrial construction. Given Turkmenistan's plans to modernize its fuel and energy sector and build new lines for chemical giants, Ural equipment could provide the technological solution for a number of such projects.
Sverdlovsk companies are scheduled to meet with government officials, potential business partners, and consumers of their products and services in Ashgabat this fall. The mission's highlight will be participation in the international exhibition "Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical, and Energy Industries of Turkmenistan." This is the platform where Ashgabat's real economy meets innovation. For Ural companies, this is an opportunity to move from one-time deliveries to long-term industrial cooperation.
