On 30 March 2026, within the framework of the official visit of the Turkmen delegation to Georgia, a meeting took place between Head of the Delegation Mr. N.Atagulyev and the Prime Minister of Georgia H.E. Mr. I.Kobakhidze.

N. Atagulyyev conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from President of Turkmenistan His Excellency Mr. Serdar Berdimuhamedov and from the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, His Excellency Mr. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

During the meeting, the sides noted with satisfaction the steady progress in the development of friendly relations and constructive cooperation between the two countries. It was also emphasized that the parties have successfully cooperated in a multilateral format, in particular within the framework of the United Nations.

The participants of the meeting also discussed a range of pressing issues related to the further development of cooperation in the trade and economic, transport and energy, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres. Special emphasis was placed on the pivotal role of high-level visits in deepening political dialogue and strengthening mutual trust between the countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining regular contacts at various levels and to continuing sustained efforts toward the practical implementation of the agreements reached.
