Turkmenistan's Integration Initiatives Will Be Discussed in Moscow at the CIS Economic Forum
The Russian capital is preparing to host the International Economic Forum "35 Years of the CIS. Developing the Greater Eurasian Partnership," which will take place on April 3. The upcoming meeting will bring together deputy prime ministers of the CIS countries, heads of ministries, and heads of major integration associations—the SCO, ECO, and EAEU.
The forum is being held during Turkmenistan's 2026 chairmanship of the CIS. Therefore, according to the organizers, discussions will focus on the priorities stated by Ashgabat: strengthening an atmosphere of trust, developing transport connectivity, and digital transformation of the economy. The principles of neutrality and sustainable development, promoted by the Turkmen side, will form the basis for developing new mechanisms for interaction in the "CIS+" format.
The session agenda covers a wide range of topics, from the implementation of artificial intelligence to joint water resource management. Given that 2026 has been declared the Year of Health in the Commonwealth, experts will pay special attention to next-generation medicine and biotechnology.
For businesses, the forum promises to be a practical platform: participants plan to discuss new financial instruments for mutual settlements and mechanisms for supporting investment projects.
