New names on the map of Turkmenistan: The Mejlis adopted a resolution on the formation of villages
he Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted a resolution on the creation of new settlements in the Akhal and Dashoguz velayats. This step is part of large-scale state programs aimed at the socio-economic development of the regions and raising the living standard of the population.
In accordance with the resolution, the following will appear on the map of the country:
the village of Dovletli Mekan in the Ak Bugday etrap of Akhal velayat,
the village of Bagtly Zamanain the Kaka etrap of the Akhal velayat,
the village of Bitaraplyk in the Kunyaurgench etrap of the Dashoguz velayat.
The new settlements will have modern administrative centers, where local government bodies will be transferred. The resolution also provides for the transfer of administrative subordination of a number of villages and amendments to the register of administrative-territorial units of the country.
This decision demonstrates the successful implementation of social programs, the purpose of which is to provide residents of Turkmenistan with the necessary socio-economic conditions and infrastructure for a comfortable life.
