Guests and participants of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3) are being welcomed on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea.

At the air harbor of the coastal city of Turkmenbashi, they are greeted in accordance with the national traditions of hospitality for which the Turkmen people are renowned. A special festive and celebratory atmosphere prevails at Turkmenbashi International Airport, in the coastal city itself, and in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

This is evident in the warm reception on Turkmen soil, the joyful smiles, and the banners, signs, and greetings displayed on streets and squares. Even the special decorations on passenger buses for this momentous event reflect the spirit of the Forum and highlight the historical significance of these splendid occasions.

As part of the Conference, guests and participants can expect a packed agenda covering political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian aspects. There will be business and cultural meetings, thematic exhibitions, and national days for Central Asian states.

It is particularly significant that the Conference coincides with the declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust, the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality, and the 80th anniversary of the United Nations. This lends additional symbolism to the Forum and underscores our country's commitment to the principles of peaceful coexistence and mutually beneficial international cooperation.

The meeting in the Avaza National Tourist Zone is intended to be a platform for finding effective solutions and establishing partnerships. Its goal is to help landlocked developing countries overcome existing difficulties and fully realize their potential, ensuring them a more equitable and prosperous future.

Undoubtedly, the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries will be one of the main events of the International Year of Peace and Trust. The Forum's participants can look forward to numerous events organized by participating countries, international organizations, and the Turkmen side, including discussions on land transport and communications, the International Year of Peace and Trust, youth policy, sustainable energy, the circular economy, and other important topics.

A special focus will be placed on cultural and humanitarian events, including a friendship concert and national days for Central Asian countries.

For now, it's a time for initial meetings on Turkmen soil, bright sunshine and warm hearts, and an introduction to the gentle coast of the Caspian and its natural jewel, the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
