The State Service for Intellectual Property of Ministry of Economy and Finance of Turkmenistan issued patents for the next inventions of employees of the Chemistry Institute of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan. One of new developments is a method for producing long-acting organo-mineral fertilizer. The invention, carried out jointly with the Turkmen Agricultural University and the AST Chemistry Institute, will be useful for the formation of a looped and waste-free agriculture. On the one hand, it will help to clean poultry farms and their territories from emissions, and on the other – to effectively improve the soil and plant growth conditions. The Institute works closely with the country’s public and private institutions. According to the five-year program, which started earlier this year, also conducts multi-faceted research under the contract with customers. By accumulating experience in commercializing relevant scientific proposals, Turkmen scientists are introducing into production the cost-effective technologies, related to the application of local raw materials. Their task is to use innovative solutions and create competitive products on world markets. Obtaining a patent and registering a trademark protects the rights of the creators and confirms their authorship. Before that, chemical scientists patented 6 more developments for different production sectors of the country. And now three new developments of the Chemistry Institute’s employees have also received patents.
