In Turkmenistan practical cybersecurity training sessions were conducted
Practical cybersecurity training sessions were held at the premises of the economic society "Sanly Çözgüt – IT meýdança" under the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The purpose of the conducted sessions was to enhance the professional skills of students and faculty members of higher educational institutions in the field of information security, as well as to stimulate their interest in mastering and deepening knowledge in the area of information and communication technologies.
Faculty and students competed for leadership in Capture the Flag (CTF). Teams solved applied problems to obtain a unique combination of symbols (the flag). Subsequently, the flag is submitted to a special platform until confirmation is received that the task has been solved correctly or that another attempt should be made to provide an answer.
Students who demonstrated the best results were granted the right to participate in the first round of the national cybersecurity competition.
