On April 10, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held a briefing on the results of the second UN assessment mission in preparation for the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC-3).

The briefing was attended by heads and representatives of the relevant ministries and departments of Turkmenistan, specialized UN structures, according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The findings of the UN assessment mission in preparation for LLDC-3, scheduled to be held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone in August 2025, were presented and discussed.

It was noted that the Government of Turkmenistan is carrying out comprehensive protocol, organizational and analytical work to organize the event. Detailed information on the conference program was provided, including thematic sessions, forums and round tables.

The briefing participants emphasized the importance of this event on a global scale, discussed in detail key aspects of the agenda, as well as the development of the Final Document and other conference materials.
