IEC "Kazan Expo" confirmed compliance with "halal" standards before KazanForum
«Роскачество-Халяль» has confirmed the compliance of the "Kazan Expo" international exhibition center, the venue for the upcoming KazanForum in May which will be attended by representatives from numerous Islamic countries, with "halal" standards.
"The “Kazan Expo” International Exhibition Center has successfully confirmed its compliance with the requirements of “halal” standards following an inspection control conducted by experts from the «Роскачество-Халяль» certification body" the statement reads.
It is noted that this is particularly significant in anticipation of the international economic forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum" scheduled to take place in May 2025.
The certification signifies that "Kazan Expo" possesses the expertise to organize events in accordance with Islamic norms and standards, and can ensure the appropriate preparation of premises and guest services. Personnel involved in event organization understand the principles of "halal" adhere to a specific dress code, and so forth.
"The infrastructure of “Kazan Expo” provides all the necessary conditions for conducting negotiations, business meetings, and exhibitions taking into account Islamic norms, which renders the venue unique for international partners" the statement further elaborates.
The XVI International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum" will be held from May 13th to 18th in Kazan.
