Eyewitnesses captured on video how burning fragments of the ship fell from the sky, forming something similar to a rain of fire.

The spacecraft crashed on the night of January 17. This was the seventh test launch of the launch vehicle from the Starbase spaceport in Texas.

Despite what happened, the CEO of the corporation Elon Musk said that another test launch allowed him to check a number of improved parts. According to him, the ship could have had an oxygen or fuel leak in the cavities above the engine firewall.
