Turkmen culture is presented at international exhibition in Islamabad
The international art exhibition “Timeless Serenity of Calligraphy and Arts Exhibition” was held in Islamabad from January 7 to 14, where works of artists, photographers and calligraphers from the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization were demonstrated. At the exhibition, the Embassy of Turkmenistan presented exhibits reflecting the rich history and modern development of Turkmen culture.
The special attention of visitors to the exhibition in the gallery of the National Council of Arts of Pakistan was attracted by the presentation dedicated to Magtymguly Fragi, the great Turkmen poet and philosopher. His work, relevant even today, became a real discovery for many guests of the exhibition.
The closing ceremony of the exhibition brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, cultural figures, as well as representatives of UNESCO. The exhibition became a bright event in the cultural life of Islamabad and contributed to the strengthening of cultural ties between Turkmenistan and other countries.
