Forbes Education conducted its first-ever vote among experts in education and enlightenment, linguists, publishing house editors and specialized media, as well as university professors and teachers from both private and public schools, to determine the key words of the year in education.

Each participant could choose no more than three words from the proposed list or suggest their own option.

The term "artificial intelligence" became the leader of the vote, gathering 69.7% of the votes. This choice reflects the growing influence of technology on the educational process and emphasizes the importance of integrating AI into curricula.

In second place was the word "mentorship", receiving 19.7% of the votes, which confirms the changing role of the teacher in the educational environment: now, they not only transmit knowledge but also act as a mentor, helping students develop their abilities.

Third place was taken by the word "personalization" with 18.2% of the votes, which indicates the need for an individual approach to learning, taking into account the unique needs of each student.

The top five also included the terms "interdisciplinarity" and "quadcopter", which scored 13.6% of the votes each. These words reflect current trends in the labor market and in educational approaches. The list of ten contenders also included the terms "private schools", "college", "financial literacy", "gamification", and "Sferum", which emphasizes the diversity of relevant topics in education.
