Forum in Abu Dhabi: a platform for discussing investment opportunities and expanding business connections
The “Global Forum on Commercial, Business, and Investment Opportunities of Turkmenistan” is taking place in Abu Dhabi. It is attended by representatives from government structures and the business community.
The forum is organized jointly with Nielsonsmith company, whose activities are aimed at promoting sustainable economic growth in emerging markets.
The participants focused on the economic development of Turkmenistan, the country's potential in the oil, gas and energy sectors.
The experts also considered Turkmenistan's opportunities in the areas of finance, banking and insurance.
The speakers noted that as a result of the comprehensive program measures on economic development, the country's economic indicators and the stability of the financial sphere are increasing, investment and business conditions are improving.
The leading and foundational sectors of Turkmenistan's economy are the fuel and energy industries, where large-scale projects for exploration, extraction, processing, and export of energy resources continue to be implemented. Active expansion of international cooperation in the fuel and energy sector is underway, which contributes to the integration into the global division of labor and the successful implementation of the Sustainable Development Agenda for the period until 2030.
Particular importance is given to energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources. The development and introduction of energy-saving technologies and the development of renewable energy sources are the key trends of Turkmenistan's industrial policy in the medium term.
