Turkmenistan to host the Xcel International Olympiad for the first time
For the first time Turkmenistan will host the national stage of XCEL (XCEL International Competitions).
Students from 3rd to 12th grades of secondary schools are invited to participate.
The national stage will take place on 27 November 2024. Participants will compete in categories such as mathematics and robotics and will demonstrate their cognitive abilities. Gold, silver and bronze medalists of the national round will have the opportunity to represent the country at the international stage of the Intellectual Olympiad, which will be held at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 1-4 June 2025.
The winners from participants around the world will receive various gadgets, smartphones, tablets, and computers, as well as scholarships from leading universities worldwide. Specifically, in an effort to provide winners with opportunities for academic growth, XCEL has established partnerships to offer scholarships with Sam Houston State University and the North American University in the USA.
