Turkmenistan and Turkey develop ties in the horse breeding industry
A meeting between Director General of the State Association "Turkmenatlary" Akhmed Berdyev and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey Ahmed Gümen was held in Ankara.
The topic of the meeting, which took place on Friday, October 25, was the establishment of cooperation in the field of horse breeding, including the exchange of experience in organizing equestrian competitions, the development of equestrian sports and the expansion of tourism potential in this area.
The participants of the meeting also exchanged views on teaching methods in educational institutions of both countries in specialties related to animal husbandry, horse breeding and veterinary science, the Turkmen embassy reported.
At the end of the meeting, the Turkmen delegation presented the Turkish side with the book by National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Horse - a Symbol of Loyalty and Happiness", translated into Turkish.
