Opening of the second Turkmen-Iranian tourism festival in Ashgabat
On October 22, the second Turkmen-Iranian tourism festival started in Ashgabat, the purpose of which is to promote the tourism potential of Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The opening ceremony brought together representatives of diplomatic missions and tourism companies of both countries.
The Ambassador of Iran to Turkmenistan, Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani, emphasized the historical and cultural ties between the states and noted the opportunities for deepening cooperation in the tourism sector.
The festival also became a platform for performances by creative groups reflecting the rich cultural heritage of both countries.
Participants could see the stands of travel companies demonstrating interesting routes and programs, as well as information materials about cultural events and natural attractions.
As part of the program, on October 23, residents and guests of the capital will be able to enjoy a performance by the Iranian creative group “Syamaa”, which will take place at the Vatan cinema and concert center at 18:00.
