Turkmen athletes won 23 awards at the 1st international WKF Karate tournament in Urgench

Athletes from Turkmenistan successfully performed at the first international karate tournament “1st WKF UZBEKISTAN OPEN 2024”, which was held in the city of Urgench, Uzbekistan from April 26 to 29.

The Turkmen team has 23 awards, including 5 gold, 5 silver and 13 bronze. In the overall team event, the Turkmen team was on the third step of the podium.

In total, Turkmenistan was represented by 74 athletes. Among them are Davut Saryev, Davut Nazmuradov, Gurbannazar Amandurdyev, Islam Annaorazov, Rustam Pukhanov, Dzhora Ovezmuradov, Nadira Asadova and others.
