RZD Logistics implemented a project for the delivery of granite slabs for a cultural and park complex in Ashgabat
JSC "RZD Logistics" organized the supply of construction materials from Russia to Turkmenistan by rail. The project for the delivery of granite tiles and decorative elements for the new cultural and park complex with the Magtymguly Fragi monument and the improvement of the adjacent territory, as well as the cladding of one of the squares in Ashgabat, was implemented by the St. Petersburg branch of Russian Railways Logistics, the industry portal Logistics.ru. reports.
Deliveries from the Kupchinskaya station of the Oktyabrskaya railway to the Gypdzhak station of the Turkmen railway were carried out in several stages over the course of six months. A total of 68 wagons with construction materials were delivered.
“This is the second major project for the delivery of tiles from this manufacturer to Turkmenistan, which our branch has successfully implemented. In 2021, 105 cars were delivered in the shortest possible time of 5 months. Modernization of cultural and historical objects is a responsible task; it requires uninterrupted logistics support and unconditional adherence to delivery deadlines. We appreciate the opportunity given to the branch to take part in such projects, we plan to continue to actively develop cooperation with the largest enterprises in the North-West of Russia and help manufacturers increase export shipments,” Maxim Losev, head of the branch of Russian Railways Logistics JSC in St. Petersburg said.
