The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Russia honored the memory of the Heroes of Turkmenistan who fell in the battles for Leningrad


Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Esen Aydogdyev took part in events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade, which took place today, January 27, in St. Petersburg.
During the solemn mourning ceremony at the Piskarevskoye Memorial Cemetery, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan laid flowers at the Monument of the Heroes of Turkmenistan who fell in the battles for Leningrad on the Memory Alley. Participants in the ceremony paid tribute to the memory of those killed at the Motherland complex.
On this day, a requiem concert dedicated to this significant date will be held at the Gazprom Arena stadium with the participation of culture and art figures of the Russian Federation. In the evening, on the Palace Square, the multimedia performance “Leningrad. In the name of life" will be demonstrated.
