A meeting with the Turkmen ambassador was held at the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Agency
The possibilities of interaction in the information sphere were discussed by Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Kuala Lumpur Mukhametniyaz Mashalov and Chairman of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Bin Fateh Din.
In the context of the conversation, the ambassador spoke about significant events that will be held in Turkmenistan and other countries on the occasion of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly, according to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Chairman of the Commission noted that establishing contacts in the telecommunications and broadcasting industries, and the online sphere, will stimulate the development of cultural ties between the two countries.
We previously reported that Turkmenistan Airlines plans to launch regular Ashgabat-Kuala Lumpur flights from February 15, which will also facilitate dialogue between the two countries, including in tourism.
