Trade, logistics and other topics at the meeting of the ambassadors of Turkmenistan and Belarus in Moscow


A number of issues of trade and economic interaction between Belarus and Turkmenistan were discussed at a meeting in Moscow on Wednesday, January 24, by the ambassadors of both countries to the Russian Federation, Esen Aydogdyev and Dmitry Krutoy. In particular, the diplomats exchanged views on the activities of trading houses in the two countries.

The schedule of immediate contacts between Minsk and Ashgabat at various levels, including in the CIS format, was considered. The ambassadors separately touched upon the prospects for the transformation of supply chains in Central Asia in the context of the development of the international North-South transport corridor, the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation said in a statement.
Another topic was humanitarian ties between countries and, in this context, there were issues of training Turkmen students in Belarusian universities.
