Bakhtar News: TAPI is a gigantic economic project that carries a message of friendship

The Afghan delegation taking part in the V World Media Summit, which opened on December 3, in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province in southern China, happily welcomed their Turkmen colleagues to the forum. And the first thing the conversation started with was TAPI, which in itself is already a fact of how important this project is on the agenda of the neighboring country.
“This gigantic economic project will bring the fraternal peoples of Turkmenistan and Afghanistan even closer together,” Director General of Bakhtar News Agency Zia-ul-Haq Hakmal said in a conversation with the head of the Media-Turkmen news agency Bekdurdy Amansaryev.
Hakmal noted the great importance of the much-anticipated gas pipeline in his country for its socio-economic recovery and for the entire region. Afghanistan greatly appreciates the support of the Government of Turkmenistan, which is expressed in the construction of social facilities, preferential supplies of electricity, regularly provided humanitarian assistance, training of Afghan students, etc.
Just the other day, another group of young workers from the railway industry in Afghanistan returned to their homeland, having completed a 4-month advanced training course in Turkmenistan.
These days, negotiations also took place in Ashgabat between the leadership of the railway administrations of Turkmenistan and Afghanistan, at which they discussed the construction of new railways by Turkmen specialists in the neighboring country.
The theme of friendship and increasing trust in the world has become a key theme at the global press summit in Guangzhou, which is attended by 450 delegates, including representatives of 197 media.
