Entrepreneurs from Penza were introduced to the prospects for cooperation with Turkmenistan
Trade Representative of Russia in Turkmenistan Alexander Elizarov met with entrepreneurs of the Penza region of the Russian Federation and told them about the prospects for cooperation with Turkmenistan, PenzaPress reports citing the press service of the regional Ministry of Economy.
“Turkmenistan plans to modernize the railway infrastructure, so now we are in particular demand for electrical and metallurgical products,” Elizarov said.
During the business meeting, it was noted that in 2022 Turkmenistan exported goods worth 146.9 million Russian rubles to the Penza region.
Also, Turkmen companies are showing interest in the logistics potential of the region, since the Penza-1 station is a major transit hub within the North-South ITC.
