854 representatives of Uzbek and foreign media have been accredited for the early presidential elections of Uzbekistan, which are scheduled for July 9. This was reported at the next meeting of the Central Election Commission of the Republic.
Also, by the decision of the Central Election Commission on the accreditation of observers from foreign states and international organizations participating in the early presidential elections of Uzbekistan, 51 observers were accredited.
The members of the commission reported that early voting on the elections will take place from June 28 to July 5.
Polling stations will be open from 9:00 to 18:00, and on weekends and holidays — from 11:00 to 17:00. Early voting may be attended by voters who do not have the opportunity to be at their place of residence on election day.
