The Cabinet of Ministers of Pakistan approved a plan for joint implementation of TAPI to accelerate the project


The Federal Cabinet of Ministers of Pakistan has approved a joint plan for the implementation of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project.
The decision is aimed at accelerating the completion of the feasibility study of the project and the transition to the stage of construction of the gas pipeline, reports Pakistan Today.
The joint document signed between the Ministry of Energy of Pakistan and the State Concern "Turkmengaz" was signed during the visit of the Turkmen delegation to Islamabad last week.
The approval of the TAPI Joint Implementation Plan marks an important milestone in accelerating the implementation of the gas pipeline project. It demonstrates the commitment of the participating countries to regional energy cooperation and lays the foundation for improving energy security and economic growth in the region.
Having received the necessary ratification, the parties will focus on concluding key project agreements, conducting land acquisition processes and formulating strategies for the implementation of the TAPI gas pipeline project.
