The commitment of Turkmen universities to modernizing educational methods and expanding international ties was confirmed by the visit of renowned linguist Kenneth Richter, professor at the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. With thirty years of teaching experience in Asia and the Americas, Richter conducted a two-week professional development program for faculty at Turkmen higher education institutions.

The educational intensive course covered Ashgabat and Turkmenabat, marking the first example of direct academic interaction between a Mexican university and Turkmen universities.

The twenty-hour course, organized for faculty from the Oguz Khan Engineering and Technology University and the Seyitnazar Seydi State Pedagogical Institute, focused on updating methodological approaches to teaching English and introducing modern communicative practical models. In addition to specialized seminars, the visit included a series of open discussion sessions with local students and the public, where they discussed the specifics of academic and institutional life in Latin and North America.

The recent exchange demonstrated the willingness of domestic higher education to attract international experts and actively integrate the best global methods into the national education system. Professor Richter, in turn, noted the high level of engagement of his Turkmen colleagues in the professional development process, as well as the audience's openness and keen interest in expanding cultural and academic dialogue between the countries.
