Turkmenistan participates in the creation of an Alliance for Partnership in Tourism in Central Asia and Xinjiang


Representatives of travel agencies of Turkmenistan signed a document on the establishment of the Xinjiang Alliance for Cooperation in Tourism in Central Asia, which will explore the resources of members and their experience in managing the industry, CCTV reports.
The signing ceremony took place within the framework of a conference dedicated to the development of tourism in the autonomous region of China — Xinjiang in western China. During the meetings, multimillion-dollar contracts in various fields were signed between various business structures and state-owned enterprises.
The event was attended by the main tourist units of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. The document provides for the evaluation of tourism resources, a review of the tourism market, a forecast of development indices and other key indicators in the area under consideration.
The parties also agreed to cooperate and facilitate exchanges between the member units in the tourism industry, as well as to stimulate national exchanges between them.
