Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan have increased trade turnover by more than 10%
The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in January-March 2023 increased by 10.5% compared to the same period last year and reached $263.4 million. Such data are given in the infographic of Uzbekistan's trade with the countries of the region, the Statistical Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
During the designated period, Turkmenistan exported $218.4 million worth of products to Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan delivered $45.1 million worth of goods to Turkmenistan.
According to the statistics, Turkmenistan is the second largest trading partner of Uzbekistan in Central Asia, second only to Kazakhstan. In general, the Republic of Uzbekistan increased imports of products from Central Asian countries by 8.7%, exports by 18.5%.
