Kiev Polytechnic Institute is interested in attracting students from Turkmenistan


The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ukraine Toili Atayev discussed with the Director of the Center for International Education of the Igor Sikorsky Kiev Polytechnic Institute Sergey Maulik cooperation in the field of education, the Turkmen diplomatic mission in Kiev reports.
The head of the center said that the Ukrainian university is ready to attract students from Turkmenistan to train qualified personnel in technical specialties. In this context, it was noted that the development of the oil and gas complex is in full swing in Turkmenistan, which creates a great demand for the use of foreign experience.
The Turkmen diplomat added that Ashgabat is interested in teaching its students in such areas as biomedicine, aviation technology, chemical technology, computer science, healthcare, etc.
Following the results of a substantive conversation held in the building of the Embassy of Turkmenistan, the parties noted mutual interest in teaching Turkmen students at a Ukrainian university.
