Over 126,000 square meters of housing in rural areas have been built in Turkmenistan in three months of this year. The construction of residential houses for the villagers is carried out within the framework of the medium-term program for the development of the regions of the country, which also provides for the construction of industrial, infrastructural and social facilities.
The indicators for the implementation of this program were announced on Saturday during a government meeting. Thus, since the beginning of the year, more than 134 kilometers of communication systems and about 54 kilometers of engineering networks have been laid in peripheral areas to renew local economic structures and provide modern services to residents of the hinterland.
