Winter returned to Astana in April spring


Snow, blizzard and sleet - it's winter again in Astana, the thermometer shows minus 7. April brought a cold surprise to the residents of the capital of Kazakhstan and the northern regions of the country.

The city was covered with a blanket of snow. Spring weather, which pleased with the sun and warmth even on Thursday - the air temperature was plus 18 degrees, rapidly began to change on Friday, and on Saturday morning "rewarded" Astana residents with snowfall.

It all started with a little rain, then the wind picked up, in the evening a snowstorm broke out, due to which roads were closed in five regions. By Saturday morning, April 15, the Kazakh capital was covered with snow, Kazinform reports.

It continues to snow and windy in the city, and minus 7 feels like minus 17. According to the weather forecast, this weather will continue in the next few days.
