Employees of the education system of Dashoguz and Lebap regions conducted the training on environmental safety

Experts of the Ministry of Education together with UNICEF held educational trainings on disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation for education system specialists and representatives of youth reference groups of Dashoguz and Lebap regions from April 11 to 14.
The seminars "pumped up" the employees of the education system – they received up-to-date knowledge about measures to reduce the risks of natural disasters, which they will pass on to school students. Moreover, this topic is timely in the light of the increasing frequency of natural disasters around the world. The recent events in Turkey and Syria have become a tragic example.
The training participants received training materials on disaster risk reduction and adaptation to climate change. The manuals will be transferred to 900 secondary schools of Dashoguz and Lebap regions to improve environmental literacy and safety.
