Turkmenistan and China discussed issues of expanding trade and economic partnership
Issues of expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation were discussed during the meeting of Turkmenistan's Ambassador to China Parakhat Durdiyev with representatives of the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). ORIENT was informed about this at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in China.
The Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade was represented by Yang Xiaozong, Deputy Head of the Relations Department, Guo Xu, Head of the European Affairs Department of the Council's Relations Department, Zhu Yavei, an employee of this department, Huang Haiyan, Head of the European Affairs Department of the Bilateral Cooperation Department, and Yu Fei, Deputy Head of the European Affairs Department of the Bilateral Cooperation Department of the Council.
Having familiarized the Chinese side with the investment environment of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen diplomat discussed the possibilities of attracting investments and improving entrepreneurship in Turkmenistan in the format of the Celestial Empire.
During the meeting, a presentation of the city of state significance Arkadag, which will be built on the basis of the concept of "smart city", was also held. The guests were also presented with a book by Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade CCPIT, founded in 1952, strives to make a positive contribution to the development of bilateral and multilateral trade relations, promoting global economic prosperity. His responsibilities include organizing exhibitions and events to promote the "One Belt, One Road" initiative.
