Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have made progress in discussing the gas union project

Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have made progress in discussing the triple gas union project, there will be benefits for each side, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday.
"Three countries - Russia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, including at the presidential level, have actively advanced in discussing this large-scale project, which will definitely strengthen energy security," Lavrov said during a press conference following his visit to Uzbekistan.
"There will be benefits for everyone, because there are gas suppliers, there are those who are interested in this gas. When the parties agree on both transit conditions and price conditions, if everyone is satisfied with everything, then everyone wins," the head of Russian diplomacy added.
Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have a great potential for cooperation in the gas sector, including in gas supplies and processing, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak noted earlier.
