Lady Gaga will work in the White House


US President Joe Biden has appointed singer and actress Lady Gaga as co-chairman of the White House Committee on Culture and the Arts, the US administration reports.
According to the statement, Lady Gaga is the winner of 13 prestigious Grammy Awards, which made her "one of the most commercially successful female musicians in history." Previously, she was also included in the list of the most influential women in the world by Forbes magazine, in the list of the hundred most influential people in the world according to Time magazine.
Another co-chairman of this committee was the American producer Bruce Cohen.
The tasks of the White House Committee on Culture and the Arts, founded in 1982, include making recommendations to the head of the American administration on cultural policy issues. The members of the committee from among artists, scientists and philanthropists who have shown a high commitment to supporting the arts and humanities are appointed personally by the President.
It should be noted that Lady Gaga performed at Joe Biden's inauguration in November 2021.
