"Turkmendenizderyayollary" and "Bureau Veritas" take cooperation to a new level


Representatives of the agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary" and the Classification Society "Bureau Veritas Marine Kazakhstan" (BV) agreed to expand cooperation.
The Turkmen side offered BV to open a branch in Turkmenistan, and the classification society announced its readiness to attract its representatives from Turkey and the UAE to the country to increase the range of services provided.
Also, during the visit to Turkmenistan, BV representatives held meetings at the Balkan Shipyard and the Marine Merchant Fleet Joint Stock Company, where they discussed possible directions for further development of cooperation.
The BV Classification Society was founded in 1828 and is one of 11 major classification societies that specialize in the prevention of marine pollution, as well as the implementation of technical supervision of the construction of ships, the provision of international certification services.
Representative offices of Bureau Veritas operate in 140 countries around the world. Since 2020, BV has been providing services for the inspection of vessels registered in Turkmenistan in accordance with international requirements, in accordance with the agreement concluded between the agency "Turkmendenizderyayollary" and BV.
