18 units of modern heavy equipment were received for reclamation works in Lebap
The Lebapsuwhojalyk production association has acquired a new batch of equipment, which includes 6 bulldozers and 12 excavators of the Japanese Komatsu brand. Another 15 units of cars are expected to arrive, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
The association is engaged in land reclamation works, prevention of soil salinization processes. The new equipment will help the capacities already involved, which are engaged in ensuring the functioning of 14 thousand 850 kilometers of irrigation and collector systems in the Lebap region.
Japanese Komatsu has been actively cooperating with the agricultural sector of the country for many years, being a reliable partner and supplier of heavy equipment.
At the moment, the sowing campaign is in full swing in Turkmenistan, which started on March 24.
