In Uzbekistan, each minister, mayor, rector and other leaders will take care of 50 young people in need


President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev assigned 50 young people in need of attention and care to each minister, rector of the university, commander of the National Guard and other members of the country's leadership corps. This was stated by the head of Uzbekistan on Tuesday at a meeting on work with youth, the official Uzbek press writes.
Uzbeks aged 14 to 30 years were divided into three categories – "successful", "average" and "critical situation". The distribution took into account the social status, abilities and interests of young people.
The third group, which includes 396 thousand people who need help from the state, belongs to the number of those under guardianship. Of these, 116 thousand have disabilities, 30 thousand have chronic diseases, 32 thousand are on preventive treatment, 16 thousand are under probation supervision, and 9 thousand regularly miss classes.
"Mentors" will support their wards in vocational training and employment, help them in obtaining loans, subsidies and guarantees.
In addition, ministries and departments, local governments should focus on working with 4.6 million young people belonging to the "average" category. Most of these boys and girls need employment.
In the first, "successful" category - 4.4 million young people who study well, have opened their own business, work in the official sector, have qualifications and are socially active.
