Turkmenistan and UNFPA intend to intensify cooperation in the field of youth policy

Deputy Head of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry Myahri Byashimova held talks with the head of the office of the United Nations Population Fund in Turkmenistan Ayna Seyitliyeva, during which the parties discussed the intensification of cooperation in the field of youth policy.

Issues of cooperation within the framework of the country program approved for 2021-2025 were also touched upon during the meeting, the website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.

In this context, the interlocutors noted successful joint work with ministries and state structures of Turkmenistan, including in such areas as women's empowerment, gender equality, reproductive health and family planning.
