The growth in the volume of attracted deposits indicates the creation of favorable conditions in Turkmenistan for the population to receive income from savings and indicates that banks have received significant funds for issuing loans and investing.

The average interest rate on all types of deposits in 2022 was 0.31%, and the average rate on term deposits for individuals was 9.75%.

Out of the total volume of attracted deposits, bank deposits of legal entities amounted to 821.75 billion manats last year, and bank investments of individuals amounted to 50.89 billion Turkmen manats.
