Turkmen students won a mini-football tournament in Tatarstan
The team of Turkmen students in mini-football of the Yelabuga Institute of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University became the winner of the republican stage of the championship of the Association of Student Sports Clubs (ASSC) of Russia 2022/2023. The competitions were held from February 20 to April 1, 2023 with the participation of 16 student teams from Tatarstan.
In the final game, the Turkmen team beat the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sports, and Tourism with a dry score of 3-0.
The next stage for the team of Turkmen students will be a performance at the All-Russian stage of the championship, which will be held from April 16 to 20 in Saransk.
Earlier, the volleyball team of students from Turkmenistan "Magtymguly Pyragy" won at the republican level of this championship. As a result, two teams consisting of Turkmen students will represent their university at the All-Russian ASSC Championship in Udmurtia.
