Russian President Vladimir Putin relieved Alexander Blokhin of his duties as ambassador to Turkmenistan and appointed Ivan Volynkin to this post. The relevant decrees are published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
"Appoint Ivan Kirillovich Volynkin as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Turkmenistan," the document says.
By another decree, Putin released Alexander Blokhin from these duties.
