Japanese insurance agency NEXI shows interest in projects implemented in Turkmenistan


Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Japan Atadurdy Bayramov held talks with the head of the Japanese Export and Investment Insurance Agency NEXI Hideyuki Urata, during which the possibility of the company's work in Turkmenistan was discussed, the website of the Turkmen Embassy in Tokyo reports.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on various areas of cooperation. It was about the participation of the Japanese agency in major projects that Turkmenistan is implementing on its territory.
The company is engaged in insurance and support of Japanese exporters and investors, being subordinate to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. The agency insures both political and commercial risks.
