Trading on SCRMET: deals totalling almost $30 million were made in a week


Last week, 36 deals totaling $29.7 million and 13.4 million Turkmen manats were made at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, ORIENT correspondent reports.
25 deals were concluded on Tuesday at once. Entrepreneurs from Switzerland, the UAE, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan purchased various types of petroleum products for $20.6 million.
Straight-run gasoline ($596.25 per ton), hydrotreated diesel fuel ($1,039.75), A-95 gasoline ($880.25) and TC-1 jet fuel ($1,1073.50) were exported.
On Thursday, a representative of Uzbekistan purchased 5 thousand tons of the "B" grade carbamide for 2.2 million ($442.50 per ton), and on Friday, a businessman from the UAE purchased 40 tons of the "A" grade technical iodine worth $1.3 million ($32.8 thousand per ton).
Also, terry products and cotton yarn, which were purchased by representatives of Kyrgyzstan, India, and Turkey, became the subjects of transactions on the SCRMET last week.
