You no longer need a permit from the migration service to travel around Turkmenistan
The availability of a certificate from the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan for traveling around the country is no longer required for local residents, sources in government agencies told ORIENT.
To board all types of transport traveling between the regions of the country, passengers need to present only the results of a PCR test for COVID-19, issued no earlier than 48 hours before departure. This was also confirmed by the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan.
Restrictions imposed to prevent the spread of infectious diseases related to procedures in the migration service have been lifted, including for passengers traveling to the capital from the regions of the country.
Earlier, Turkmenistan partially abolished the mask regime in connection with the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the world and the region – wearing a protective medical mask has become optional at open air and in personal transport.
