The Russian leadership congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on Victory Day


Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev sent congratulatory messages to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Telegrams addressed to the Turkmen leader from the leadership of Russia were published today in the official Turkmen press, which coincided with the opening day of the Inter-Parliamentary Forum of Central Asian countries and Russia initiated by Turkmenistan in Ashgabat.
In his message, Putin expressed confidence that the young generations of Turkmens and Russians would be worthy of the memory of their fathers and grandfathers, would preserve and strengthen the traditions of friendship and mutual assistance bequeathed to them.
Mishustin in a telegram noted that he was sure that the traditions of friendship established during the Great Patriotic War would continue to serve as the foundation for the development of a strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and Russia.
Medvedev expressed confidence that the long-standing friendship and traditions of mutual assistance between the peoples of Turkmenistan and Russia will serve as a solid foundation for the successful development of cooperation and strategic partnership between the countries.
Also today, the congratulatory message of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan addressed to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the occasion of May 9 was published in the official Turkmen press. In it, Pashinyan noted that the memory of the Great Victory obliges us to strengthen the inherited ties of friendship and comprehensively develop Armenian-Turkmen relations.
