A new isobutane production plant will be built at the polymer plant in Kiyanli

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the construction of a new isobutane production plant at a polymer plant in Kiyanli in the Balkan region, the official Turkmen press reports.
In February, it became known that the winning company in the tender for the project was selected and further studies will be conducted to determine exactly where it is advisable to build the facility. In addition to Kiyanli, the possibility of construction at a plant for the production of gasoline from natural gas in Akhal and at the Balkanabat iodine plant was considered.
Isobutane is produced from natural gas and is widely used in oil refining, which will contribute to expanding the range of products produced in Turkmenistan with high added value from hydrocarbon raw materials.
